Management scope
Core assets we steward
A holistic approach to nature-based carbon sequestration across forestry, coastline, and coastal livelihoods.
At Berkat Bhumi Lestari we do not only broker credits. We manage the soil, the trees, the coastlines, and the communities, so the carbon asset has a chance of permanence. Environmental regulation asks for demonstrable stewardship — baseline, monitoring, and regulatory alignment — not a purchase on its own.
01 — Green carbon
Terrestrial forestry
Tropical rainforest and terrestrial vegetation managed to prevent deforestation, advance afforestation and reforestation, and sustain high-absorption species. These living assets generate high-quality offsets for partners.
02 — Blue carbon
Coastline vegetation and mangroves
Coastline restoration, tidal marsh preservation, and mangrove planting. Securing these borders captures atmospheric carbon and protects shorelines from erosion and extreme weather.
03 — Coastal livelihoods
Sustainable fisheries and aquaculture
Eco-friendly farming integrated into coastal vegetation plans so it does not disrupt mangrove root systems. The result is additional revenue, local income, and the biological integrity of the carbon asset.
04 — Regenerative supply
Forest agriculture
Shade-grown coffee, cocoa, cajuput, and sustainable rubber, alongside community forest equity that gives indigenous communities capital and market access in buffer zones.
05 — Monitoring
Ongoing verification
Satellite imagery, drone mapping, and ground-level biomass surveys track vegetative growth and carbon drawdown from a comprehensive ecological and carbon-stock baseline.
06 — Compliance
Regulatory alignment
Managed zones are aligned with national forestry law, international registries such as Verra and Gold Standard, and corporate ESG reporting requirements across Indonesia and the wider Asia Pacific.
Stewardship, not a credit purchase
- Baseline assessments map ecology and carbon stock before a project is treated as an asset.
- Monitoring combines satellite imagery, drone mapping, and ground biomass surveys.
- Every managed zone is aligned with national forestry law, recognized carbon registries, and corporate ESG reporting.
